Our electric sauna stove features an improved "heat release system" that allows virtually all of the heat to be circulated into the centre of the room, keeping the stove and the Incoloy elements much cooler, resulting in 20 or 25 year life spans of the elements. The built-in heat deflectors assist in moving the heat to the centre of the sauna room to benefit the bathers and away from the ceiling directly above the stove. Saunacore stoves are made in Canada.

Use of Water on to the Hot Sauna Rocks...

Every Saunacore electric sauna stove can be used safely with water thrown on to the hot rocks to make steam and increase humidity. Or you can run the stove as a dry sauna with no water. The sauna stove elements, made from an Incoloy type of stainless steel, are built for extreme use.

Sauna Control Options... 1.  The Built-in Sauna Control has mechanical controls (thermostat & 60 minute timer) mounted right on the sauna stove. Some Canadian sauna buyers prefer the built-in controls for their ease of wiring. Most Canadians prefer the next 2 options. 2.  The Outside Wall Control is a low cost mechanical control. The OWC sauna control will be located in a wall outside the sauna at a convenient face level. This thermostat has a 12' capillary to connect the heat sensor (located above the sauna stove) to the thermostat control. The outside sauna control must, therefore, be located within 7' or 8' of the stove. A 3-gang masonry junction box is recommended for easier installation of the wires to the controls. Your electrician will supply this part. The OWC control allows a temperature fluctuation of 15 degrees. All Canadian thermostats have this characteristic. The timer makes an obvious ticking sound. 3.  The Digital Electronic Control is our most popular control. It provides a number of extra features. The DEC electronic thermostat maintains the sauna temperature extremely accurately, within +/- 3 degrees. The electronic timer has no ticking sound.  The DEC sauna control is ideal whenever the control is more than 7' or 8' away from the stove. It can also be located up to 60' away from the sauna stove.
